The art hotel nhow Milano, via Tortona 35 (MI), will be the setting for a prestigious event that will take place on Thursday 19 April 2018, from 7.30 pm: the award ceremony of the winners of the biennial contest "Significant Furniture" with the theme: "Convivial places ", furnishing objects for collective spaces.
In June, at Villa Dionisi, home of the Aldo Morelato Foundation and the MAAM Museum, the jury, composed of Ugo La Pietra, Silvana Annicchiarico, Ettore Mocchetti, and Giorgio Morelato, decided to award the first prize to the "IN-" project of Zulema Josa and Gastón Gil, (Barcelona - Spain). The student award was assigned to the "TOBIA" project by Luca Moras (Conegliano - Treviso) and the jury signaled as deserving the "LINEATUR 16" project by Uwe Dietrich (Halle - Gemania), "PETALO" by Erminia Cofone (Milan) and "IN_CLUSTER_l'incastramenti" by Sara Deganis (Udine).
The awards ceremony will be held in occasion of the Salone Exhibition in Milan and will be part of the Fuori Salone event of the Morelato Company. The latter has always supported the Foundation's activities with the aim of promoting the ancient tradition of cabinet making in the Verona area, through continuous research and an innovative vision of furniture as art objects.
