MINUTES

The jury composed of:
Aldo Cibic, designer, Ugo La Pietra, designer and theorist of applied art; Silvana Annicchiarico, director of the Triennale Design Museum, Ettore Mocchetti, designer and editor of the "AD" magazine; Giorgio Morelato, President of the Aldo Morelato Foundation.


Met on June 7th, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the headquarters of the Foundation Aldo Morelato "Villa Dionisi" located in Cerea (VR), after a thorough analysis of all papers and technical reports, statements, according to the regulations, decided unanimously to assign the prizes with the following motivation:
 

The "CAMERA DI COMMERCIO DI VERONA - ALDO MORELATO FOUNDATION AWARD – OPERA PROJECT" EURO 5,000.00
the project: "CEPPO" by Marco Fiorentino - Albenga (SV), because of its simplicity but also ambiguity concerning the relationship between internal / external object composed of single combinable elements.


THE JURY ALSO SIGNALS AS DESERVING:
the project "ATLANTE TAVOLO GEOGRAFICO“ by Maria Spazzi (MI), for the ability to design an object of use (table) charging it with figurative meanings which allude to the landscape and territory from time to time to be used for domestic transactions.

And the project: "Nuutajärvi" by Lorenzo Passi (VE) and Edoardo Passi (MI), for the innovation of an everyday object (a glass) using two materials and proposing it in a new relation container / support.
 

The “CITTÀ DI CEREA - SCUOLA APPIO SPAGNOLO” - AWARD " EURO 2,500.00
The project "TOT" Mattia Inno (TO) and Camille Brito Reale (YV), students of the IAAD in Turin, for the revival of a type of fun object for children (and not only) through the composition of abstract elements and core structures with a strong allusion to artistic compositions.
 

THE JURY ALSO SIGNALS AS DESERVING:
the project: "STONE_MEMORIES" by Marco Uliana (VE) and Roberta Vettorato (PD), students of the IUAV in Venice, for the refined graphical presentation and the conceptual components that inspired the object.

And the project: "WINEZIA" by Daniel Blagoja Nikolovski, a student at the IED in Milan, for the innovative design of an typologically recognizable object, which was charged with allusive meanings related to the city of Venice referring to it as a territory with a great tradition of wine production and in its form resembling a fish.
