In the exhibition area dedicated to the company from Verona and its foundation, also two design schools are hosted: the NAD (New Academy of Design) from Verona and HOAA (House of Art and Artist), a prestigious Chinese university specialized in art and design.
The exhibition collects iconic pieces of some of the most significant designers such as Andrea Branzi, Aldo Cibic, Adolfo Natalini, Mario Botta, Marco Ferreri and Ugo La Pietra. The pieces are real "sculptures" of wood" that represent the memory of the cabinet maker tradition in combination with the innovation of contemporary design.
The pieces on display are part of the permanent collection of the MAAM, the Museum of Applied Art in Furniture Field, which represent the stylistic and expressive research of modern living. The MAAM, located in the beautiful setting of Villa Dionisi, a Venetian villa in the Veronese plains and headquarters of the Aldo Morelato Foundation, collects donations and works designed by internationally famous architects and designers and is a “museum within a museum”. Objects of beauty in fact, are hosted in the frescoed halls of this eighteenth-century residence turned into real works of art. A successful encounter between tradition and stylistic research. The MAAM is furthermore part of the museum network of the Milan Triennale, in the category "theoretical and practical research" and comprises private collections and corporate museums throughout the Italian territory with the express purpose of promoting and representing these unique realities.

Morelato together with the Aldo Morelato Foundation, under the artistic direction of architect Ugo La Pietra and the chairmanship of Giorgio Morelato, promote the culture of furniture in the world, through continuous research and an innovative view of furniture intended as art.
